Professional Carpet Cleaning in Bath

A good carpet cleaner tells you the limits as well as the benefits. Here is the honest version for the problems Bath customers ask about most.

Why pet smells sometimes come back. Urine can sink into the backing and underlay. Cleaning the carpet alone might not get rid of contamination underneath. Also, moisture can make the smell come back. Soaking the carpet and scrubbing harder can make the problem worse. Tell us about repeated accidents before we start so we can explain the likely limits.

Pet owners and dusty homes. Carpets hold dust, hair and fine dirt that vacuuming misses. A regular clean takes that build-up out of the pile. It's a cleaning job, not a medical one, but many people find their home feels fresher afterwards.

Tip for pet stains: blot a fresh accident with kitchen roll. Press rather than rub, and contact us before applying a cleaning product.

Bath homes feature various floor coverings. You might find wool-mix on a Victorian staircase or durable synthetic carpet in a student let. The fibre changes how a carpet should be cleaned, so it helps to know what you have.

Cannot tell what you have? Send us a photo of the carpet and any accessible label or edge. We will tell you what we recommend before you pay anything.

How often should carpets be cleaned?

These are rules of thumb. Follow your carpet manufacturer’s care guidance too. A busy hallway may need attention sooner than a spare bedroom.
